Properties of split pins, locking pins, keys and rivets

Split pins are available in steel, galvanised steel, brass, stainless steel and copper. Just like locking pins, split pins are used for securing purposes. Locking pins are available in steel, stainless steel and galvanised steel.
Keys are flat pieces of steel used for the purposes of raising, or to create a recess.

It is possible to have a small hole drilled in the centre of a key, into which a thread is then tapped. A screw can then be inserted into this thread to facilitate positioning. Just to give you an idea of the vast range of possibilities; we have supplied keys as large as 1 by 1m and keys with an impressive length of 3 metres.
